A Metcalfe County man was one of two people arrested on drug charges Thursday, May 10th, as a result of a search of a residence in Barren County. According to Glasgow police 41 year old Billy DeWayne Butler of Park City and 27 year old Brett Owen Brown of Edmonton were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphenalia. The arrests were made after Glasgow Police responded to a complaint of possible illegal drug activity at a residence on Bryan Street in Glasgow. A search of the residence turned up several items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Butler and Brown were both lodged in the Barren County Jail.
